Kris Hixson

Kris Hixson is the resident video guru at Malaria No More.Whether its in house tv/vcr repair to feature length documentary production, Kris is your man.  He comes to MNM from the entertainment industry having worked in Hollywood for 3 years, then opening the production company I-40 Films focusing on tv spots and music videos.  He has directed music videos for recording artists, Tori Amos, Jars of Clay and Jason Michael Carroll.   Other clients he's helmed projects for include clients IBM, Con Agra Foods, 1-800 PACKRAT, Moe's Southwest Grill, and the National Hockey League (NHL).  His work with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes garnered international attention on ESPN and ESPN2 in a behind the scenes'featurette on I-40 Films.  He has won numerous national advertising awards for writing/directing.  A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he loves his Tar Heels, and going to Carolina in his mind.  His 15 minutes of fame came suddenly in 2002 when he caught a gigantic rubber ball thrown out at a David Copperfield magic show, and subsequently became a participant in a magic trick in which he disappeared on stage then reappeared behind the audience.
