Martin Edlund

Chief Marketing Officer

Martin has been with Malaria No More since the organization was founded in December 2006, transitioning from our sister organization Millennium Promise to serve first as Director of Communications and then as Director of New Programs. During his tenure at Malaria No More, Martin helped organize media and events in Africa with President and Mrs. Bush and American Idol stars Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle; launched Malaria No More’s first Africa-focused marketing and social mobilization campaign in Senegal; and helped shape the narrative of the complex and evolving issue of malaria for leadership audiences across the globe.

Prior to joining MNM, Martin was a journalist for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The New Republic and Slate, among other publications, and a political consultant in Washington, DC, specializing in online campaign strategies.
